The Key To Rondo

This book is about 2 kids that are cousins. They are visiting each other witch is a bad thing because they are Mimi a girl and Leo a boy that hate each other. Mimi finds a very perishers gift that was Leo. The gift was a music box the music box had a set of rules. The rules were

1. Turn the key three times only.
2. Never turn the key whale the music is playing.
3. Never pick up the box till the music has stopped.
   
4. Never close the lid till the music has stopped.
   

But she turned the box more than 3 times so the pattens on the box started to peal off the pattens started to peal off and came alive. She only wand did it 4 times so only butterflies came off. Leo was was very mad but she convinced him to wind it 5 times so he said ''I will wind it 5 times if you leave me alone'' and she said ''Fine'' then the girls puppy came when he wind it 5 times this time a evil queen came out. But they did not know that she was evil. The Queen said ''Do you wont to came to Rondo with me '' they were so shocked they could not belief there eyes. But than word came out of Leo's mouth ''what is Rondo'' then the queen replied ''my home. So do you wont to came'' ''NO''said Leo ''to late '' she then made her self , Mimi and Leo going into the box but just in time Leo shut the lid.....
.....they were safe but mutt the dog isn't he was sucked into a parallel world called Rondo. But a note suddenly appeared the note said BEWARE! SHE IS YOUR ENEMY. DO NOT TAKE HER HAND. DO NOT TELL HER YOUR NAME. They were very shocked to see the note. They somehow got sucked into the box and went on a advance of a live time.

I really like the ather Emily Rodda because she is realy great. 10/10.

The Magic School Bus/Sees Stars

This book is about a girl called D.A or Dorothy Ann and it is her birthday so she gets a day of school. which was very good for the class because they were going to bye her a gift but somebody dropped it so they had to bye other one BUT it was too much money so they turned on the TV and an advertisement was on the man on the TV said"Buy a star now but there aren't many left so buy one now'' then that gave them a idea. To buy a star so they set of to the magic school bus and it turned into a rocked so they could find a star. And they did they found a real star but they could not bring it back to earth so they made it even brighter so D.A could see the star.

I won't to tell you the hole story by I have to keep it it a secret for if you want to read it.
I give this book a 7 and 1/2 and you should really read it.

The Magic School Bus/Gets Cold Feet

This book is about a pet lizard called Liz and she goes missing. Everyone looks all over the class room and they find some clues in the room. The first clue is a ripped page

from a magazine and the second clue was a packing list. They set off to find her. They came to a big bullring called Herp Haven. Then they saw a lady with a big tortoise the lady said, ' I want this tortoise stuffed and toasted.'' The class could not believe their ears. They turned the magic school bus into a, alligator so they could get through the gates because you need a pet to get in but one person stayed out to walk the crocodile to the door. Then the man took the alligator from Phoebe. But Phoebe said, ''I want to came with her.'' But the man said, ''no.' Then he took the busgator and put it in a habitat. The children in the bus were going to get out but Mrs Frizzle said, ''You can go out there because you will get eaten by the other animals. '' Ms Frizzle pulled some levers and the class was out by a wink but they weren't normal children they were reptiles. They search high and low in warm and cold places until they found her in a very cold place. Everyone started to feel very sleepy until Phoebe came to the rescue. She took the kids out of the cold place and put them in a warm so that they woke up. Then they hopped into the bus and went.

The man said, ''wait you forgot Liz's habitat '' He was not going to kill Liz after all. That was good.


This book is written by Joanna Cole and illustrated by Bruce Degen. I give this book a 10 /10 because it has lots of interesting facts and it is very funny.

The Sea Dog

This book is about a little boy called Ben who lives in a lighthouse and does not like the water at the beach. One day his dad went to work and brought back a dog. Ben named him Licky. Licky and Ben went to the beach. Licky went in the water. Ben thought Licky was drowning but she wasn't. So Ben jumped in the water to rescue her but it ended up Licky saving Ben. Ben forgot about being afraid of the water and went swimming every day.

I think this book was very funny and I give it a nine.

The Magic Shoes

This book is about four children at an athletics competition. Jade has some shoes that they all think are magic.  Everyone keeps on asking to wear her shoes but Krystal and Jason have long jump and high jump at the same time so Jade said ''why don't you have one shoe each?'' and it worked. But another problem was that it was time for the relay race. What are they going to do? 

 Mr Flores said, "It was not the shoes doing all the running, it was you. You don't need the shoes."   That made them more confident and they won.

I give this book an 8 and a half and I recommend that you read this book because it is quite interesting.
